Vivekanand Ki Atmakatha

Wah Kahan Hai ?

Wah Zindagi
SKU: n/a -

About the Book: Waiting For Shiva: Unearthings The Truth Of Kashis Gyan Vapi Few places in the world carry the heavy burden of history as effortlessly as Kashi, or Varanasi, has. The holy city embodies the very soul of our civilization and personifies the resilience that we have displayed over centuries in the face of numerous adversities and fatal attacks. Waiting for Shiva: Unearthing the Truth of Kashi’s Gyan Vapi recreates the history, antiquity and sanctity of Kashi as the abode of Bhagwan Shiva in the form of Vishweshwara, or Vishwanath. Shiva himself assured his devotees of salvation if they leave their mortal coils in the city.

About the Book: One Mind, Many Thoughts: Notes From A Common Mans Diary Do Good to Feel Good In One Mind, Many Thoughts, Pravesh Jain voices the anger and frustration of the common man and talks about how rabid commercialization, materialism, greed and corruption are eating away at the roots of our very existence. He expresses his concerns about how the changing times have eroded traditional values and norms, and bemoans the arrogance of the rich and powerful, the lack of healthcare and other facilities for the elderly and the poor, rising prices, and all the other ills that plague twenty-first century India. As Pravesh Jain eloquently says,

From the best-selling author of India’s Biggest Cover-up In 2013, the Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court described as ‘genuine and based on relevant material’, Anuj Dhar’s writings regarding the controversy surrounding the fate of Subhas Chandra Bose So, what really happened to Netaji? What is the factual position with regard to the air crash that reportedly killed him in 1945? Is there any truth behind Subramaniam Swamy’s belief that Netaji was killed in Soviet Russia at Jawaharlal Nehru’s behest? How do the biggest names of the past and present, from Mahatma Gandhi and Vallabhbhai Patel to President Pranab Mukherjee and Atal Bihari Vajpayee fare in India’s longest running controversy? Who was Gumnami Baba of Faizabad and if indeed he was Netaji, why did he not surface? Above all, what is preventing the Narendra Modi government from declassifying the Netaji files? the answer would make you believe that truth is stranger than fiction.

WHAT IS MODERATE ISLAM?
(True narrative)WHAT IS MODERATE ISLAM?
“Richard L. Benkin has put forth a solid collection of chapters on one of the most critical topics of the dayódistinguishing between moderate Muslims and Islamists. With the growing threat of Islamist groups in the Middle East and their affiliates in the West, the issue of identifying moderates necessitates a clear and guided answer, which is detailed throughout these chapters. This book is a must-read for anyone seeking to understand the complexities and nuances of the Muslim world at large.” – Asaf Romirowsky, Middle East Forum Radical Islam is a major affliction of the contemporary world. Each year, radical Islamists carry out terrorist attacks that result in a massive death toll, almost always involving noncombatants and innocents. Estimates of how many Muslims could be considered followers of radical Islam vary widely, and there are few guides to help distinguish moderates from radicals. Observers often sit at the extremes, either seeing all Muslims as open or closeted jihadis or recoiling from any attempt to link Islam with international terror. Both positions are overly simplistic, and the lack of rational principles to absolve the innocent and identify the accomplices of terror has led to governments and individuals mistakenly accepting jihadis as moderate. What is Moderate Islam? brings together an array of scholars and activists -Muslim and non-Muslim- to provide this missing insight. This wide-ranging collection examines the relationship among Islam, civil society, and the state. The contributors investigate how radical Islamists can be distinguished from moderate Muslims, analyze the potential for moderate Islamic governance, and challenge monolithic conceptions of Islam.

When Mani Writes: “Hindu Terror”
When Mani Writes: “Hindu Terror”
This book brings, under one cover, a collection of articles by R V S Mani, who is well-known for his role as a whistle blower on “Hindu Terror”, that were published on different portals like zeenews.com, Wion, guru’s etc. The articles pertain to a wide range of topics, related to politics, international scenario, internal security, agriculture and also an interview. These articles were written before the issues they dealt with exploded in the face of the nation. They were actually warnings. As the author says, he did not want the bragging rights for “I said so”, but to urge the nation to look at the pattern and prevent a possible controversy/ problem for the nation in the near future.
Be it the latest news of Captain Amarinder Singh accusing that Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan had wanted Navjyot Singh Siddhu to be a minister in his cabinet; the issue of ‘parali’ burning being an attempt to alter agrarian practices in a border state in order to destablise the nation; Nikah Halala being a national security issue; and several others continue to prove that what was written by Mani, came out to be true and/ or continues to be highly relevant event today.

Why I Killed the Mahatma: Understanding Godse’s Defence
English Books, Rupa Publications India, इतिहासWhy I Killed the Mahatma: Understanding Godse’s Defence
It is common knowledge that Mahatma Gandhi was shot dead in 1948 by a Hindu militant, shortly after India had both gained her independence and lost nearly a quarter of her territory to the new state of Pakistan. Lesser known is assassin Nathuram Godse’s motive. Until now, no publication has dealt with this question, except for the naked text of Godse’s own defence speech during his trial. It didn’t save him from the hangman, but still contains substantive arguments against the facile glorification of the Mahatma.
Dr Koenraad Elst compares Godse’s case against Gandhi with criticisms voiced in wider circles, and with historical data known at the time or brought to light since. While the Mahatma was extolled by the Hindu masses, political leaders of divergent persuasions who had had dealings with him were less enthusiastic. Their sobering views would have become the received wisdom about the Mahatma if he hadn’t been martyred. Yet, the author also presents some new considerations in Gandhi’s defence from unexpected quarters

Winning Strategies Serving With A Smile
We did a scanning of catalogues of all publishing houses, libraries and books stores and discovered that there is NOT a single, soft-skill training books catering specifically to the needs of students, aspiring to get into the aviation and hospitality industries. This book fils that vital gap.
When Air Hostes Academy (AHA) launched its first training institute at Delhi’s Amar Colony, there was not a single institute of its kind offering customised training for the aviation and hospitality sectors. The programme became popular since there was a great demand for it because of its usefulness in the industry.SKU: n/a -

Women In Islam
This study discusses a woman’s status under Islam. It discusses Islamic laws relating to marriage, divorce and dower; it discusses polygamy and concubinage which were not long ago important political institutions of Islam; they were made possible by its fast-growing Imperialism and they in turn had fully served its expansionist needs. The author also mentions Islam’s treatment of the infidels, a related and even more cruel aspect of the same problem, and also a question of grave concern to the non-Muslim world.
