Thank You India
Thank You India: Maria’s Wirth book is an ode to India and its wisdom. Stumbling into India on an accidental layover in 1980, she gets drawn into a seeker’s journey, searching for truth and encountering the many remarkable men and women, gurus and teachers, who would act as guides for her decades in India. From Sai Baba to Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, from Anandamayi Ma to Amma, she records her close personal encounters and experiences.
The journey will take us to secluded and unknown yogis in the Himalayas to the famous celebrity gurus, to colorful festivals and ascetic caves. But her real journey is the inner voyage to Yoga or union, a union with the Self. As we travel with and through her we get to reflect on love and death, rebirth and liberation and the necessity and the limitations of the guru. Finding both inspiration and disillusionment, she returns again to her own self and to the wisdom of India, a treasure for all of humanity in its journey.

The Girl from Kathua (HB)

On January 10, 2018, a little girl allegedly disappeared in Kathua district of Jammu province. Even before her body was recovered a week later, a sinister narrative was launched alleging that the girl was abducted, gang raped and killed by ‘RSS-minded’ Hindus in a Hindu temple. Talib Hussain, a PDP-Hurriyat activist with criminal antecedents led the campaign, in which Patwari Sanji Ram was declared as the ‘mastermind’.
Mehbooba Mufti, the then CM of J&K, deftly used this opportunity to arbitrarily arrest hundreds of young Hindus of Kathua district. Amid unprecedented protests by the Bar Association, several BJP leaders as well as leading citizens of Jammu, cutting across party lines, begged the PMO for a CBI investigation. But the demand was snubbed, and the fake narrative allowed to run amok.
Madhu Purnima Kishwar personally investigated the case over three years. With meticulously video-recorded interviews, extensive analysis of legal documents, financial transactions, and social media posts, she exposes how the Mufti government astutely used the mainstream media, foreign-funded NGOs and puppet academics to get the police and the judiciary to legally persecute innocent Hindus to further their subversive agenda of Land & Demographic Jihad in Jammu province.
Shockingly, leading journalists and ‘public intellectuals’ ignored even the post-mortem, which does not support rape charge to globally vilify Jammu Hindus and the Modi government. This book effectively blasts the fake narrative and exposes the masterminds behind it.

The Great Brahmin Land Robbery
-18%English Books, Garuda Prakashan, इतिहास, सनातन हिंदू जीवन और दर्शनThe Great Brahmin Land Robbery
The Brahmins and the upper castes became the target of attack in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu when political parties with deviant ideologies came to power and rolled out programs and policies aimed at stripping them of their posts, positions and livelihood ….. Caught in a mire of leftist jargon, discriminatory policies, humiliation and rank injustice, the Brahmins felt cowed down but fought back. The present book describes the actual happenings in a fictionalised manner so as to make the narrative more interesting to the readers of the new generation.

The Many Loves of Rama The Selfless Monarch
-15%English Books, Garuda Prakashan, इतिहास, रामायण/रामकथाThe Many Loves of Rama The Selfless Monarch
For an ordinary human being, the events dotting the life journey of Bhagwan Rama had enough to make him resentful, angry, jealous and full of ego. Yet he was none of this. Bhagwan Rama radiated love to all, including his worst enemies—and is loved by us all even today.
But still, we question some of his decisions as Maryada Purushottma: Why did he kill Vali from behind? Why did he mock Suparnakha? Why did he condemn Jatayu (initially)? Why did he look on silently when Mata Sita decided to undego Agnipareeksha? Why, despite seeing Sita clear the ‘fire-test’, did he pay heed to the washerman and exile his pregnant wife to the forest?
The Many Loves of Rama by Meera Prakash provides multi-level answers to these complex questions that confound us.
The book explores the options Bhagwan Rama had, both as an ordinary human being and as an incarnation. Can he be ‘sbolved’? The book also looks at the roles and significance of the people present around Bhagwan Rama, who helped the cause of the Visnu-incarnate in their own myriad ways. From his three brothers, mothers, Hanuman, Sugreeva, to Vibhishana, and many others—Rama always had people helping him because they loved him. And he loved them all.

The Quantum Book Of Soma : Reinterpreting the Wisdom of the Vedas
-10%Garuda Prakashan, अध्यात्म की अन्य पुस्तकेंThe Quantum Book Of Soma : Reinterpreting the Wisdom of the Vedas
The entire 9th Mandala of the Rig Veda is devoted to this magical Soma. Soma, however, is like the Beeja mantras (Aum, Hum, Sreem etc) of the Vedas. It was a meta-concept of extraordinary elegance and beauty. It encompassed a whole spectrum or range of meanings in that one word. In this book, the author examines in detail the Botanical aspect of Soma as a psychotropic plant; studies the biological aspect of Soma as an endogenous elixir—which he personally experienced in meditation; examines the Soma of Senses—of sight, sound, touch, taste and smell—and the Soma of Action as defined in the Geeta. The highlight of this book is the Quantum Mechanical approach to understanding the Atman and the act of seeing that generates this cosmos. This book analyses the Vedic Mahavakyas in the light of latest discoveries in Quantum Physics and neuro-biology; and the correspondences are simply amazing and revelatory.
“General Bakshi explores Soma extensively in neurobiology and mind body medicine and depth psychology, and ultimately its connection to the subtle body and chakras & Agni/Kundalini, weaving modern science with yogic meditation. All these many types of Somas are part of a greater integral and universal view of the infinite and eternal reality, the Atman that is Brahman. His explanation of Soma in terms of Vedantic Mahavakyas like Tat Tvam Asi is most notable.”

The Sarasvati Civilisation
Who were the Harappans? How are they related to present-day Indians? Was there never an “Aryan Invasion”? The Sarasvati Civilization: A New Paradigm in Ancient Indian History brings together evidence from satellite imagery, geology, hydrodynamics, archaeology, epigraphy, textual hermeneutics, and DNA research to place together ancient Indian history in the light of new discoveries and facts which were simply not available to colonial historians of the 19th century and have been overlooked thereafter. At the heart of the ancient Indian Civilization was the mighty Sarasvati river which was in full flow 5000-6000 years ago. 60–80 % of the so-called Indus Valley Civilisation sites which have been discovered are not on the banks of the Indus but on the course of the Sarasvati. The drying-out of the river is the most significant factor in the history and migrations of the ancient Indians. With new evidence, the time has come for a significant paradigm shift in Indology. This book breaks new ground to lay the foundation for an authentic Indian history.

The Walking Brahmin
In 1857, Vishnubhat Godse and his uncle Rambhat, unwittingly walked smack in the middle of The First War of Indian Independence. Having the misfortune of being at the wrong place at the wrong time, the duo were caught in the crossfire between the loyalist Indian troops and the British. They witnessed the fall of Jhansi first hand, survived the aftermath of British savagery, were robbed of all their belongings multiple times, and even managed to avoid getting hanged. Twice. Being on the road for two years, they finally returned to Varsai village, near Pen, Maharashtra. Back home, Vishnubhat penned down his adventure for his descendants which was eventually published as a Marathi book in 1907.

Unbreaking India: Decision on Article 370 and the CAA
-10%Garuda Prakashan, राजनीति, पत्रकारिता और समाजशास्त्र, सही आख्यान (True narrative)Unbreaking India: Decision on Article 370 and the CAA
The nullification of Article 370 and enactment of the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA), 2019, had been landmark legislative actions in 2019. Author Sanjay Dixit delves deep into the past and traces the events, actions and their repercussions that finally led to the Union of India introducing these two measures. He looks at these events from all perspectives-historical, social and political. For Article 370, he traces the entire history of Kashmir from its pre-Islamic past and to the events that unfolded at the time of the Partition of India, leading to the initial inclusion of Article 370 in the Constitution of India. Dixit also studies in detail the legal and constitutional labyrinths, discussing the various Presidential Orders and case laws from the Constitutional Bench jurisdiction of the Supreme Court. For CAA, Dixit traces the constitutional history of India from the time of the partition of Bengal in 1905 to the unfortunate events of the Partition in 1947. His study relies heavily on Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s analysis of the reasons for the Partition and the theology of a ‘separate nation’ that prevailed during the period. The author contends that this same theology has been staging a comeback now in the form of mazhabi pehchan which forms the crux of the anti-CAA protests. The informed position of the author, his lucidity of language and directness of approach lend clarity to his arguments and make this an accessible and important read.

Urban Naxals
Who are Urban Naxals or Urban Naxalites?
Urban Naxals are educated people in academia, media, NGOs and urban civil society in India who support violent insurrection against the State. They are often motivated by a violent-Left ideology and seek to achieve their objectives via coordinated violence rather than by democratic means. While the Naxalite movement is often associated with remote tribal areas, Urban Naxalism is a phenomenon in cities and urban centers. Urban Naxals act to amplify and normalize the violent Naxal movements such as the “People’s War Group”, names among the top ten terror groups in the world, and act as recruiters, propagandists and sources of funds. Naxalism is named as the leading internal security threat to India.

When Mani Writes: “Hindu Terror”
-10%English Books, Garuda Prakashan, राजनीति, पत्रकारिता और समाजशास्त्रWhen Mani Writes: “Hindu Terror”
This book brings, under one cover, a collection of articles by R V S Mani, who is well-known for his role as a whistle blower on “Hindu Terror”, that were published on different portals like zeenews.com, Wion, guru’s etc. The articles pertain to a wide range of topics, related to politics, international scenario, internal security, agriculture and also an interview. These articles were written before the issues they dealt with exploded in the face of the nation. They were actually warnings. As the author says, he did not want the bragging rights for “I said so”, but to urge the nation to look at the pattern and prevent a possible controversy/ problem for the nation in the near future.
Be it the latest news of Captain Amarinder Singh accusing that Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan had wanted Navjyot Singh Siddhu to be a minister in his cabinet; the issue of ‘parali’ burning being an attempt to alter agrarian practices in a border state in order to destablise the nation; Nikah Halala being a national security issue; and several others continue to prove that what was written by Mani, came out to be true and/ or continues to be highly relevant event today.
